If I type let’s say “tractor purchase portland” where on your website does the search engine draw from? Is there something you can do to better help keywords your customers are using during their search to find your website?

My friend has a go cart with everything but the motor in it. I want to put an engine in it for my son. The go cart is just an old honda 3810 riding lawn mower stripped down to the frame and the essentials. The lawn mower has some kind of transmission in it and it has a clutch and a break in the same pedal. I don’t want an engine that will pass cars on the highway. Just something small that will go anywhere from 20 kph to 50kph. So if anyone could tell me how big and what kind and even what modifications I might need to do to the lawn tractor that would be great. Im NOT looking to buy a brand new engine…Just looking to find a used one that I could salvage off of something else. Thank you for all feedback!

Mainly economy in running. Not all tractors need great power to just cut and bale hay. It is only when you turn them into FEL with a backhoe or other utility vehicle that a diesel engine is the better choice. The other area of farming that requires extra power is broad acre farming where huge 200 disc plows are being used to cover hundreds of acres of planting.

PTO shafts are quite dangerous. I was thinking if its possible for a tractor to generate enough electricity for electric engine that would be installed on a mower or a baler, and instead of using a PTO shaft, there would be a cable providing electricity to the electric engine on a baler. and then you would have buttons in the tractor to increase or decrease power. would this be possible?

I am not sure. But I do know that a sears repair center can tell you. Or a sears parts man.

It is possible to do this, but it’s not a good idea. Jet fuel – kerojet (kerosene) – has chemical properties such that it does not combust at the same temperature and pressure in a diesel engine than diesel fuel does.
It is a good deal spendier per gallonm than no. 2 diesel anyways, so why speculate?
