Which Garden Tractor Should I Buy?

I’m looking at two tractors for a gardening business:
One is a mid-eighties Murray 18hp, cast iron rear end, comes with scraper, box scraper, turn plow, disk and cultivator (no mower!) and brand new ag rear tires. $750
The other is a mid-nineties Craftsman 19.5hp garden tractor with no attachments (and no sleeve hitch installed), but does have a mowing deck. $600
So with the Craftsman I’d have to invest in a $100 sleeve hitch, plus used plow, disk, cultivator and scraper blade.
Which tractor would you buy given the two?

the ignition plug had one black wire that ran to one side of a fuse.it is now hooked to one side of the push button. one orange wire that loops all the safety stuff and to the solonoid relay. i hooked that to the other side of the push button. the machine starts fine with charged battery.it had 2 yellow wires also looping all the safety stuff. i hooked them to a grounded toggle when the engine is running and i flip the toggle the engine shuts off. two green wires are still in the plug and are not being used. and lastly a red wire which is not being used. i have a red and white wire coming from the engine the white one powers the lights while the machine is running and i assume the red one charges the battery but i don’t know how or where to hook it. there is no regulator ,rectifier,generator none of that stuff. everything was fine until i put in push button. can’t find original switch it’s an old montgomery wards. i’ve tried hooking the red wire from the engine to a number of differen

I have 20 acres of land behind my house I can use for gardening and small livestock, such as chickens and rabbits. I am a welder by trade and I want to build a 3 point hitch for a 12 HP lawn mower to plow a large garden. I can do the fabracation but I would like to buy the plows and the disc and build the racks for them.
Does any one know where I could buy them and what size I should get?
The mower has 18″ x 9.5″ on 8″ rims. I have enough room to put tires on it up to 24″ X whatever, and I can cut the hub off the ones I have now and fab up hubs to fit the axles. Any ideas on where to get the tractor lugged type tires at a good price.
I am disabled and the check is very big so I need the cheapest things I can find that will work.
Hope some one out there can lead me in the rigth direction.

Discounts On Used Garden Equipment.?

Found a Garden Tractor Mower at Sears Warehouse Outlet, the unit is used, has not been cleaned up. They want to sell the unit at 30% off the orginal selling price. The problem I have is that the tag on this unit shows that the tractor has been reduced in price twice now, yet they want to go back to the orginal price when it was new, this one is used and shows it. There are other tractors with less horse power that are new, and have been reduced to almost the same price as the one I would like to purchase. Does anyone have advice, besides walk away ?
