Chicken Question, I Need Your Help?
I have 2 chickens. I have 1 hen named Jewel and dont know if the other 3 month old Moon is a pullet or cockerel. If it is a cockerel I was wanting come chicks and sell, not for $ but to find them a good home on a farm or acres.
I have had chcikens a long tiem, I wing sexed them but cant remember what it was. I also could tell them by looking at them but this one is different.
1.) How can I tell if my 3 month old chcik is a cockerel or hen?
2.) Will people buy them, I know more people want ducks?
3.) Is $2 a piece for them good price, Tractor supply is $3?
4.) Whats the best or good website to avertize them for sale on?

1.)Is the comb getting big?if it is then its a ****.
2.)It depends if people want chickens.
3.)That is a great price,thats what i bought my 5 hens for.
4.)I would sell them in a local add,so people local can buy them.

Sorry, I can only help you with the first one.
1.) How can I tell if my 3 month old chick is a cockerel or hen?
Take the chick and grab it by it’s feet. Turn it upside down (while holding it’s feet). If it’s male, it’ll only raise it’s head slightly. If it’s female, it’ll try to raise her head as high as possible. Sorry, I wish I had pictures to show you.

people will buy chickens, but only the hens or if they need a new NICE rooster.5 for them is a better price. if you ant to sell them, advertise on craigslist.
