    some companies do use them but not many i know of a company call ConWay Truckload that has them on there trailers the metal or plastic in between the axles on the truck and trailer but a load modified to be more aerodynamic doesnt happin or atleast i havent seen it and odds are it would cost to much and be a choice not requirement but i havent seen anything to help with aerodynamics other then then skitrs on the conway trailers

    Yep, it is basically an advancement of the large spoilers that used to be mounted on top of the tractor
