The Powers That Be say that “Middle-income folk are the backbone of America’s economy”. What of us who do not even make that much? They have no right to tax us seeing as all that money is misspent anyway. They give it away to folks who do not deserve it, or out and out “steal it”!
We have this illusion that our vote counts, what a joke. They put in office who they want in there. Then they throw some huge expensive party on our dime and congratulate themselves!
There are too many unemployed folk right now, with far too much time on their hands for the Powers That Be to take the situation lightly.
One wonders what will be coming down the pike when everyone’s benefits run out. They best sit up and take some serious notice and give us some tax relief here, we aint gonna take much more!

This is the best question that I have read on this site.
These bailouts will NEVER be payed. You and your children, and your children’s children will be taxed into the grave, unless you put some one into office who promises, and lives up to the promise of taking back the right to issue currency. You do not own the dollar. The dollar is owned by the foreign company called the Federal Reserve.

Pardon me, but I didn’t see Capital Gains Tax on your list, and Obama will be raising that, as well.
Obama doesn’t appreciate your rocking the boat and nudging the masses into becoming aware. He wants to maintain his heroic image as a savior among his followers.
You saw what happened to Joe the Plummer when he confronted Obama about his scheme.

I have to agree. If anyone thinks this bailout will help anyone other than the Elite they are nuts. If the politicians really wanted to help the working man they would lower medical costs. Lower medical would cut the cost payed by large corporations for medical insurance who just want to dictate where we go for treatment.
Why is it we are bailing out businesses that are paying millions and billions in bonuses. Could it be because their dollars helped to fund the presidents and other politicians campaigns? Why should we help GM or Dodge? They sent the jobs to Mexico and Canada, now they want us to bail them out. They made trillions off of us.
I hate to say it but Toyota, Honda, Hundai,VW, etc. their CEO’s didn’t take bonuses, because profits had fallen. They are the ones giving Americans jobs and building factories in the U.S. While our tax dollars go to the very businesses that have forgotten the American worker.
Why should we bail out the large banks? I have talked to the small banks and they aren’t hurting. I guess it is because they didn’t go out and create a portfolio with fancy accounting. Why are our politicians so eager to put our tax dollars to bailing out companies that can’t manage their own “Money”. Makes you wonder how much stock is owned by our politicians.
If Wall Street failed, GM went bust and the large banks crashed down it wouldn’t hurt the average working stiff a bit. The ones it would hurt are those that played the market and took their chances, The upper class the elite, the Politician.
