Search Engine – How Does A Search Engine Find A Website, I.e. What And Where Does It Draw The “keywords” From
If I type let’s say “tractor purchase portland” where on your website does the search engine draw from? Is there something you can do to better help keywords your customers are using during their search to find your website?

I get asked this question a lot
search engines “crawl” almost every website – in particular are those with high rank: PageRank (Google) (a number which Google gives each website depending on certain factors: e.g. number of pages linking to tht website, how popular, etc). search engines then index your website and is listed within the search engines.
when someone searched a query certain factors determine where you appear in the results, if any. best way to get listed to be first for a specific query is to have it in your domain (e.g. tractor purchase portland http://tractorpurchaseportland; howver a user may have to type without spaces)
to improve your ranking means increasing the number of ppl linking to your site and getting more ppl to use it.https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitema…

You are probably looking for the “meta keywords” tag which you add to your HTML in the head section.

if you get traffic to your site, search engines will index your webiste, and also it will take your keywords and give importance to your keyword. so traffic is the most important thing in internet,
there are two things:
1) one is traffic
1) second is quality traffic
am talking about a website which has a 500 arround alexa traffic rank, and about 6/10 google’s page rank.
get a free back link from this site, get a lot of free traffic, in this site you get free credits, and with that you get free traffic.
everything is free, http://www.trafficswarm.com/go.cgi?53747…
just get some easy traffic, also first 50 credits will activate you account, and then you will get your 100 free credits, then on you get free credits, with that you get free traffic.
Source(s):
get a disclaimer, privacy policy, terms and conditions, site maps, etc, these helps rankings,
also http://www.harmu.com for paid quality traffic, advertise on time basis, not on cost of clicks,

Most websites have a feature when they register their site as an available search on yahoo. For example, you will leave certain keywords and the website name to yahoo and yahoo will keep it in their database. I did the same thing when I started a website. I posted my website name and certain keywords to search for my site.
