Two Tractors Are Used To Drag A Large Boulder Across A Field. The Larger Tractor Exerts A Force Of 3200 N…?

Two tractors are used to drag a large boulder across a field. The larger tractor exerts a force of 3200 N toward [120º].The smaller tractor pulls with a force of 2500 N toward [65º]
[a] Determine the resultant force on the boulder

    Two tractors are used to drag a large boulder across a field. The larger tractor exerts a force of 3200 N toward [120º].The smaller tractor pulls with a force of 2500 N toward [65º]
    [a] Determine the resultant force on the boulder
    large: (3200*cos(120),3200*sin(120) = (-1600,2771)
    small: (2500*cos(65), 2500*sin(65)) = (1057,2266)
    resultant: (-1600,2771) + (1057,2266) = (-1600+1057,2771+2266) = (-543,5037)
    arctan(5037/-543) = -84 degrees (wrong quadrant!)
    correction: -84 + 180 = 96 degrees
    magnitude = sqrt(-543^2 + 5037^2) = 5066 [N]
    Answer: 5066 [N] towards 96 [degrees]
    Good luck.
