What Are Farm Tractors Used For?
What do farmers use farm tractors for? Like, mowing grass, making hay or what?
I’m supposed to make an ad for a tractor company and I’m not sure about how to advertise it well. What are the features of a good tractor?

My family has owned tractors for as long as I can remember. The tractor is the lifeblood of the farm. You can’t run a farm without one. The tractor itself is basically just a powerful vehicle. However, if your tractor has a 3 point hitch, you can attach all sorts of glorious implements to accomplish various tasks on the farm.
Attach the disk to break up the ground in order to plant crops. The attachment called the “section harrow” will till the ground in a different manner than the disk, and as the name implies, “sections” the dirt into little rows. The “middlebuster” will dig a neat trench into the middle of a row, for row crop planting. The “bushhog” mows down brush, weeds, and overgrown fields. The “hay cutter” does just that. It cuts down grass for hay. The “hay rake” rakes the hay into even rows after it has cured in the sun. This makes it easier for the “hay baler” to come along and gather up the rows of hay, and spin them into bales and tie them up. Unfortunately, there are animal deaths on the farm, as well. How to get a 1000 lb. dead animal to the back of the property for disposal? Hook a chain to the tractor and drag the poor dead critter to its final resting place.
As you can see, there are so many uses for a farm tractor that I could think of dozens of others.

The features of a good tractor are how well they perform when doing specific farming tasks. Different tractor models are designed to perform different duties and some to perform all around farming duties. Tractor model selection depends on the type of farming application and reliability to perform in the application, as well as, how good they look at County Fairs.
So, determine the applications of your tractor, the benefits, reliability and performance, then apply your creative skills to generate an eye catching ad, emphasizing RELIABILITY!
Good Luck!

Well, I imagine they’re used to pull different machinery like grass cutters, hay makers (don’t know the name), plowers. Or, maybe you could attach things on the front of them, like snow plows, etc.
Of course, if you’re a Seinfeld fan then farm tractors are used for catching gonorrhea!!

well the tractor itself just goes from point A to point B but you can put large attachment on it to do a large number of things such as cut the grass, harvesting, spraying chemicals and such on the plants or even hitch a trailer to move stuff around ( hay rides!!!)
Hope this helps

Farmers can hook differnt stuff up to the back of it, for example a plow would make grooves and rows in the soil then a crop would be planted.
