What Is The Lubricant Used In A 9n-2 Ford Tractor Rear- End?
any rear end gear fluid will work they are all pretty much the same . just make sure you get a heavy duty gear oil.

The transmission, differential and hydraulic system uses the same oil. The old owners manual specified straight mineral oil, 80 or 90 weight depending on ambient temperature. Ford New Holland today says to use a combination hydraulic/transmission oil that meets Ford specs M2C134D.
