What Kind Of Oil Does A Craftsman Ys4500 Tractor Use?
i lost my owners manual so i need to know what kind of oil it uses because i dont want to buy the wrong kind. thanks

Sometimes you can download and print new manuals. Usually for a small fee, Sears is so tight with a penny they won’t furnish it on line.

Have you looked on the dipstick to see if it’s on that or under the seat or hood there is usually a little silver (colored) plate the gives the information.

oil is oil, any 30 #wt or 10W-30 or 40,
as long as its a 4 cycle, most tractor motors run and last longer on plain 30 wt, oil the detergent type oil loosens things up to much,

Air cool engines use 30# non detergent. Change oil filter often! 25 hours.
