Taxes are not the problem, spending is the problem. Each tax you list funds some spending. Take, SUTA. What do you think the government does with those premiums? Do you want folks who lose their jobs, e.g. NOW, to lose everything? If the answer is yes, and it may be, say that. Say, I want to eliminate unemployment payments to the those who are laid off. Show some testicular fortitude.

As a former service member, I can say that taxes paid my salary…….Sorry, even freedom isn’t free…….
EDIT: So I guess that you think that the tooth fairy drops off all service members paychecks under their pillows. People want roads without pot holes, crime free streets, free education for their children, and an organized society. I guess that the poster does not get paid at his job and he is very willing to work for free. People just don’t get it. It’s like my dad said, “Everyone wants the next guy to work for free.” Half of the people using the internet do not realize that the web was initially funded by tax dollars. Without the federal funding, we would still be sending snail mail. In addition, small pox was eradicated thanks to federal funding. If you do not want to pay hardly any taxes try moving to a nice South American country where only a few people earn most of the money while the majority of the country wallows in poverty and is kept in poverty due to poorly funded education.

Are you some kind of anarchist? What country is more prosperous? You know somewhere else where the per capita is almost $50k a person even with such a huge population? You know somewhere else with the opportunities we have today?
I’m sorry, I forgot, you’re a spoiled brat who takes services such as social security, fire departments, police departments, standing military, roads, postal service, etc for granted.
No taxes and all of that goes away, so guess what? You’d be paying for it out of pocket at capitalistic prices of mucho grande. Sounds fun?

The American Military used to fight so that we could keep our freedom ‘and still do’, even if certain people are raping us. Today, however, the average military personnel fights for the life of each and every American. If it were not for America’s military, America would be up in flames. People would be slaughtered, and the women, after being turned into a sex toy for probably 150+ men, would be killed and burned before their children. Our pets would be stomped and our homes torn apart. America would have been finished many years ago. Probably would have eventually been taken over by Hitler.
